09:30 AM – Arrive at the Coffee Farm

Meet local coffee farmers and begin your visit to the plantation. Walk through the coffee fields and learn about the different stages of coffee cultivation.

Discover how coffee plants are cared for throughout the growing season and how ripe coffee cherries are selected during harvest.

10:30 AM – Coffee Farming Experience

Your local host will explain how coffee cherries are harvested and prepared for processing. Depending on the season, you may also have the opportunity to see or participate in parts of the harvesting process.

11:30 AM – Coffee Processing & Roasting

Learn about washing, drying, sorting and roasting, followed by a demonstration of traditional coffee preparation.

12:30 PM – Fresh Coffee Tasting
