Your adventure begins in Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large herds of African elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park’s open plains, wetlands, and acacia woodlands provide an ideal habitat for a wide range of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hyenas, and an impressive variety of bird species. From Amboseli, continue to the legendary Tsavo West National Park, celebrated for its dramatic volcanic landscapes, rolling hills, lava flows, and abundant wildlife. The park has a fascinating history and is famously associated with the “Man-Eaters of Tsavo,” the lions that gained worldwide attention during the construction of the Kenya–Uganda Railway. Today, Tsavo West remains one of Kenya’s finest safari destinations, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. The park is also home to natural attractions such as Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters attract hippos and crocodiles.
Your safari concludes in the expansive Tsavo East National Park, one of the largest and oldest protected areas in Kenya. Known for its vast open plains, striking red-dust elephants, and diverse wildlife, the park offers outstanding game-viewing opportunities. Full Itinerary
Day 1: : Nairobi- Amboseli
After an early breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, meet your professional driver-guide and begin your scenic journey to Amboseli National Park, located at the foot of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife, Amboseli is one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations and offers some of the best opportunities to see large herds of African elephants in their natural habitat.
Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive through the park, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and a wide variety of birdlife, all set against the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
After breakfast you will go for a game drive in the park seeking to explore the diverse wildlife in the park. Notable wildlife you will see here include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, among others. All these wildlife species are seen with an impressive view of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. If you wake up before dusk you will get a chance to see the African Sunrise. You can alternatively wait for the sunset and capture the beautiful moments.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park to Tsavo west National Park
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, offering one last opportunity to spot wildlife as the savannah awakens. After the game drive, depart the park and travel toward the magnificent Tsavo West National Park. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the Chyulu Hills, where you will make a brief stop to admire the beautiful volcanic landscape and enjoy a lunch break.
Continue your journey to Tsavo West National Park, arriving in the afternoon for check-in at your lodge or camp. If time permits, you may enjoy a short evening game drive to begin exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: ull Day Game Drives in Tsavo west National Park
Spend this day exploring Tsavo west National park. You will visit the rock outcrops from where you get incredible views Tsavo wilderness. Look out for a number of wildlife including elephants, zebras, wildebeest, Klipspringer, lions among others. If you are into hiking you can hike Chaimu Crater or you can visit Lake Jipe at the Kenya Tanzania border. Later return to your lodge for a rest.
Day 5: Head to Tsavo East National Park
Have breakfast and then go for a game drive as you exit the park for a transfer to Tsavo East National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and a rest after which you will go for an afternoon game drive. Enjoy Kenya’s wild and later return to your lodge for meals and overnight.
Day 6: Departure
On this last you will wake up early for a game drive to catch up with the early risers. Later exit the park for a transfer back to Nairobi for a drop off at the airport for departure or Hotel depending on schedule
