Full Itinerary
Transfer to Lake Naivasha National Park
You will be met at the airport or your hotel by our safari representative and begin your journey to the scenic Lake Naivasha region. Along the way, enjoy a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can take in breathtaking views of the dramatic escarpment and capture memorable photos. Continue to Hell’s Gate National Park, a unique destination known for its stunning landscapes, geothermal activity, and diverse wildlife, including bird species such as vultures, augur buzzards, and swifts.
Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park while searching for wildlife such as African buffaloes, zebras, elands, hartebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, and baboons. In the evening, you may opt for a relaxing boat cruise on the beautiful waters of Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos and a variety of water birds while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park and Game drives
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most beautiful wildlife destinations. The park is renowned for its stunning lake views and its large population of flamingos that often gather along the shoreline. It is also an important conservation area for endangered species, including black and white rhinos and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of bird species, including flamingos, African fish eagles, tawny eagles, green wood hoopoes, cliff chats, great white pelicans, pink-backed pelicans, and various migratory birds. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive exploring the park in search of wildlife such as zebras, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and other fascinating species. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, depart for the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, a spectacular wildlife destination characterized by vast grasslands, rolling hills, and the scenic Mara and Talek rivers that flow through the reserve. Upon arrival, begin your adventure with an exciting game drive, where you will have the chance to encounter some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, hippos, and many other species.
The Masai Mara is also famous for the annual Great Wildebeest Migration, when thousands of wildebeest cross its plains in one of nature’s most incredible spectacles. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive exploring the reserve’s diverse habitats while searching for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and other fascinating wildlife before returning to your lodge for the evening.
Day 4: Full Day at Masai Mara
Spend a full day exploring the magnificent Masai Mara National Reserve with unlimited game drives across its vast wilderness. Enjoy incredible wildlife encounters as you search for the famous Big Five and other remarkable species that call the Mara home.
The reserve hosts an impressive diversity of wildlife, with more than 450 animal species, including lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, elephants, and numerous species of antelopes. This full-day safari offers exceptional opportunities to witness Kenya’s iconic wildlife in their natural habitat and experience the beauty of the African savannah.
