Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to Rivertrees Country Inn . Settle into your accommodation and enjoy a restful evening in preparation for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park & Cultural Tour

After breakfast, begin your journey with a cultural walking tour in the vibrant farming town of Mto wa Mbu, a unique village home to over 120 tribes from across Africa. Your guide will introduce you to banana and rice plantations, a local brewery, a school, and a carving workshop, offering insights into Tanzanian rural life.

Later, continue to Lake Manyara National Park, just a short drive away. This scenic park is known for its vast soda lake lined with pink flamingos, large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and even tree-climbing lions if you’re lucky.
In the late afternoon, drive to Enyati Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Cultural Experience with Hadzabe Tribe – Lake Eyasi

Today is dedicated to an immersive cultural experience. After breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi, a remote and picturesque area where you’ll visit the Hadzabe Bushmen, one of Tanzania’s last hunter-gatherer tribes. Learn about their traditional way of life, including hunting with bows and arrows, gathering wild fruits, and using herbal medicine.

Join them on a short game walk and participate in daily activities. This unique encounter provides a deep and authentic connection to indigenous life.
Return to Enyati Lodge for meals and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

After an early breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Home to over 30,000 animals, the crater offers a chance to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo) and many more species like zebras, wildebeest, flamingos, hippos, and cheetahs.
After a thrilling safari in one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, drive to Mbalageti Lodge in the western Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Western Serengeti – Great Migration Safari

Enjoy a full-day safari in the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park. Depending on the season, witness the spectacular Great Migration, where wildebeest and zebras cross crocodile-infested rivers, followed closely by predators.
Regardless of the season, the Serengeti is rich with resident wildlife year-round, including lions, leopards, elephants, and giraffes. Return to Mbalageti Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Lake Victoria – Rural Life Encounter

Today, travel to the shores of Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake. On your journey, pass through traditional Sukuma villages, where you can observe daily life centered around farming and livestock. This is a peaceful and less-visited region, offering an authentic glimpse into Tanzanian countryside living.
Arrive at Serenity on the Lake Lodge for dinner and overnight on the tranquil lakeshore.

Day 7: Lake Victoria – Canoe Fishing & Village Tour

Start the morning with a traditional canoe fishing trip alongside local fishermen. Try your luck catching Nile perch or tilapia, while learning about the local fishing culture.
After breakfast, enjoy leisure time at the lodge before heading out for a village tour, including a visit with a traditional healer who will share insights into African natural medicine and healing practices.
Return to Serenity on the Lake for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Lake Victoria – Boat Safari & Island Exploration

Rise early for a motorboat fishing trip on Lake Victoria. With the ability to travel farther out, you increase your chances of a rewarding catch and can enjoy birdwatching or optionally visit Rubondo Island, home to wildlife such as giraffes, chimpanzees, and elephants (optional excursion).
Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the peaceful lake shores. Dinner and overnight at Serenity on the Lake Lodge.

Day 9: Central Serengeti – Wildlife Viewing

After breakfast, return to the central Serengeti for another exciting game drive. This area is famous for its high density of predators, especially lions and leopards. You may also encounter elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, ostriches, and more amidst the golden plains.
In the evening, drive to Enyati Lodge for dinner and overnight in Karatu.

Day 10: Return to Arusha – Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha for lunch. Depending on your flight time, there may be an opportunity for shopping or relaxation. Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
