Day 0 - Arusha

 Kilimanjaro
Distance: 130km

Met on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. Transfer to Hotel in Arusha for overnight stay BB. (45 km, 60-75 minutes)

   Accommodation :Jevas or similar accommodations

  • Day: 1 – Arusha to Tarangire

     Game viewing 6 - 7 hours
    After breakfast, in the morning you will be picked up from your Accommodation in Arusha and hereafter we drive to Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa, from June-October. The fierce sun sucks the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red, the withered grass as brittle as straw. As well as large elephant herds, you will have great possibility to spot both lions, giraffes, buffaloes and much more.

    After a picnic lunch we do an afternoon game drive, where after we continue to Karatu, where you will overnight and dinner at Panorama Camp Site or similar accommodations

    Day: 2 – Lake Manyara Park

    Early morning breakfast, then depart to Lake Manyara for game drive. The park have varied habitat that attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Lake Manyara’s unique tree-climbing lions, zebra, hippo pool, buffalo, giraffe, baboons, warthog, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.     Day: 3 – Ngorongoro Crater

    Today, you will visit Ngorongoro Crater, the main feature of which is a large, unbroken, unfolded volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed on itself some two to three million years ago, is mostly open grassland with two small wooded areas. Game drives through the Ngorongoro Crater begin early in the morning in safari vehicles with pop-up roofs. The descent into the crater is one of scenic beauty, as you make your way through lush forests, home to numerous elephants and buffaloes.

    As you reach the inside of the crater, your guide will take you through the grassy crater floor, the unbelievable fever tree forest, Lerai forest, the banks of Lake Magadi and the surrounding marshes. Lunch is served picnic style, surrounded by the natural wonders around you as well as the exceptional wildlife, roaming freely, with which you share this extraordinary paradise. After your picnic lunch, we will drive back to Simba Camp where you will be dropped at your accommodation.

    Day 4 – Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast we continue towards the Serengeti National Park. As the drive from Ngorongoro is a few hours, we will eat our lunch on the way to the park or just before entering. Once we have arrived, we will continue with afternoon game-drive. Over a million wildebeests make a 600 mile pilgrimage though crocodile-infested water on the annual exodus north. Returning to the South to replenish the species in a brief population explosion that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the pilgrimage begins again. Depending on the seasons, our game-drive will take us to various parts of the Serengeti. After the game-drive and watching the beautiful sunset over the plains, we will continue to the Shuhudia Adventure Camp, where you will overnight and enjoy your dinner.

    Day 5 - Serengeti National Park

    Full day Safari watching millions of wildebeest crossing the Mara river stalked by a monumental amount of predators, one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. For many tourists, witnessing such a spectacle is an emotional experience that could never be fully captured by mere words or photos, making this one of the most sought after safari tour. Whether you are on a family safari holiday or going on a solo trip this unique phenomenon shouldn't be missed.

    Day 6 - Serengeti to Lake Natron

    Depart from Serengeti National Park to arrive at Lengai Lodge in Lake Natron, an ideal breeding ground for Rift Valley Flamingos and Oldonyo Lengai, the Holy Mountain of the Maasai. Here you can stretch your legs and enjoy waterfall walks, hot springs, and the unique scenic surrounding area that is covered in ash and zebras before departing to the Arusha early the next morning where you will be dropped at your accommodation
