Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Astro Safaris driver will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Rivertrees Country Inn in Arusha for dinner and overnight. Relax and settle into your lodge as you prepare for your safari adventure. If time allows, enjoy a complimentary town tour to get a glimpse of local culture.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park – Nature Walk & Game Drive

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a guided nature walk along the lakeshore. Discover the diverse flora and fauna, including medicinal plants, birdlife, and animal tracks. Afterwards, enjoy a game drive through the park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, flamingos, and hippos.
In the late afternoon, drive to Enyati Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Central Serengeti – Wildlife Exploration

Today you head to the Central Serengeti, known for its year-round game viewing. Spot abundant wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and many more. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of endless plains and acacia-dotted savannahs.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti – Mara River Game Drive

After breakfast, travel to the Northern Serengeti for game drives along the Mara River. Depending on the season, you may witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossings—an unforgettable spectacle filled with action, crocodiles, and waiting predators.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Full-Day Game Drive

Start the day with an early morning game drive along the Mara River. Watch the massive herds of wildebeest and zebras navigate the waters while predators lie in wait. This region offers excellent chances to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and possibly the elusive black rhino.

Day 6: Serengeti to Arusha – Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive en route to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, have lunch and relax before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight home.
